just put my engine back in after 4 months, camt find where two things go. first its the line fron the bottom of the overflow tank(long line) also i have a green wire on the right side of the engine dont know where it plugs too. the bike cranks but dont start. i have a 97 cbr 600

Here's a link to a detail of all the parts. I'm guessing you meant you have an 87, not 97. If not, you may want to try posting in the F3 section. The fuel overflow can run about anywhere, I think. Mine runs down and is held by a metal clip on the right side. The wire your talking about may be your kickstand switch? I don't know for sure, sorry.

 

does the hose come out of the coolant overflow

 

Need more details What tank, and is the green wire comming out of the engine or off the harness or out of the rectifier
