Hello, I'm just starting out on bikes and to be honest need a bit of advice. I've been offered a 1998 cbr 600 black and silver 28000 miles for 1200 bucks. Can anyone advise me if this is a good buy and what i should be looking out for. Im very mechanicaly minded and know my way around a car, but bikes are very new to me. Meant to ask also, is their much difference between the steel frame and the aluminium one performance wise. Any advice much appreciated.
