I had to undo the oil spicjet to take the engine in to 😂 I made sure to torque it this time I done all the 8mm bolts to 27 all 6 to 12, so hopefully stays together this time 🫠🫠

after I put the engine back together , I used a liquid gasket , then I took my gear shifter off the bike and then made sure every gear engaged which it did, then the cam shafts which I had a head scratch over the other day was super simple to do , I watch the videos from tentacleslap, he done an amazing job with those , but Yh undo the sprockets completely , TDC, lobes outwards set the the spotters to also line up with the indicator and then lock tight, put the chain tentioner on happy days , I feel like I really know this bike , lucky it’s an old bike not much to it in the sense of sensors , electrics etc it’s been really good to learn and now I been on eBay looking for bikes with no mot and small issues and maybe get for cheap and just start to learn more and get to mess about with some cool bikes and also get ride them 😀

 

I, for one, can't wait to hear this thing fire up. Cosmic work so far Matey.

I’ve made a fatal mistake , so when I put the two parts of the engine back together , there are 3 fingers which sit around the gears the first time I tryed to get it on only two on the fingers clipped on, so I tryed again and the middle one sat above and the two again click on so I screwed it down and then attached my gear shifter and went threw the gears , it went all the way to six and back down and engaged neutral


just got the engine in put the chain on and the gear shifter , started to click threw …… 5 and 6 the wheel spins 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯


bikes has to come apart 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
