fuel leak

RE: fuel leak
When you say "left hose", what do you mean? The overflow/breather hose between the #1 and #2 carburetors?
IF so, then you have either a float assembly that is sticking, or one of those two floats has a crack or hole in it that makes it not "float" anymore. Float stays at the bottom of the bowl, gas keeps rushing in, fills up all the way to the top, and comes out the breather hose.
Take the carbs off and open up the #1 and 2 and make sure the floats are moving freely and not sticking anywhere. Also take out each float and make sure it still "floats" in a little bowl of gas. Sometimes they get little holes or cracks that you can't even see and they won't float anymore.
