when i painted my bike and had runs in the clear i just dabbed the runs with a cloth that wouldent leave little fibers behind, there was enough clear on it that it flowed to gether again leaving a perfect finish. no litle valys or mountains and no orange peal effect. sounds realy unprofesional but it worked :P i did have some trouble getting the plastics back to gether but not as much as i expected heres a few pictures of it for general intrest (Got the tail cap after i painted, still have to do somthing about that)
and it is also a first time noob paint job

Thanks for showing me up! I thought I had done a decent job. I will now go blow paint up my nose 'til I pass out! Your bike is sick!!! ( as my son would say ). Killer job!!
Did you paint on the purple graphics? Better paint that tail, pronto! I was so happy to finally, actually, get the damn clearcoat to spray out right that I didn't inspect all the parts carefully. After it dried, I saw a few and wanted to wet sand them down.... but, didn't work out on the practice piece.( tail piece ) Good enough for me though and it's so freaking red! So... you dare throw down the painting gauntlet, do you! I will respond!

thanx ballistic, but i gota say kudos to you to i love the deepness of the red on your bike, excelent job always nice to see onother guy out there willing to try his luck and make somthing amaising.
and yes the purpule is painted on and it took for ever lol (yeah gota get on that tail pice just dont have the space to do it anymore will have to find somone to do a quickie for me)
