I recently bought a 1987 CBR 600 F1 and it is missing most of the fairings. I am having trouble finding F1 fairings online and was wondering if I am just not looking in the right place or if they are discontinued? I have also say that people have modified newer fairings to fit the 87 and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what fits best?

thanks for the info guys! i also have heard that some people have modified F2/3 fairings to fit by fabricating new brackets. Does anyone know if this is true and which model would fit best?

 

Yes its true, no idea,people have gone as far as RR fairings

 

I went the 600rr route on mine, took some time but after modifying it a bit and making a few brackets I would say I have it about 90% done....I did this over the winter and she is being rode now until seasons end when I will button up the last few details!
