Default Fairing attachment.

The fairing on the right side of my bike is missing the main attachment where the lock screw would attach. Right now there is a piece of plastic that is just slapped in there and is doing its job but poorly. What is the best way to fix it and or where do i buy a replacement or make one?

Are you talking about the rear fairings? Link to part below, #1, #4, and #6.

If that is is, buy the parts here:

#4: http://servicehonda.com/parts.php?pa...etprice=Submit
#6: http://servicehonda.com/parts.php?pa...etprice=Submit

FYI, this was all for the 87 model. They should all be the same, but just as a warning. What year do you have?

It has the male end on the rear fairing (the rear fairings are completly fine, I just need the piece that would normaly be on the bike itself. I dont think the diagram showed that actual piece... And its an 89.

Are you talking about the rubber grommet that fits inside the hole on the frame? That is #2 on the diagram. There is a turn to lock plastic piece on the front portion of the side cover, and then there should be tabs molded onto the rear that slip into rubber grommets. Please try to be more descriptive of what you are asking.
