Hey people can any one help?
I just got done putting the front end of a 97 cbr 600 on my bike triple trees went in like a charm. The only problem is my left side caliper wont bolt on to my new forks.
I use my bike every day to go back and forth to work, I cant afford to have it down.
Has any one done this swap? I kept my wheel from the 87 cbr and the shaft fits.
is there a way to cut out the left caliper?also the wheel looks like it might need some shims.
If you have an idea please shoot it over to me. thanks!

 

If you can't find a rapid fix and your wheel isn't having any issues with the swap alignment wise you can modify the line to run one Caliper, it's safe enough to get you by until you get your fix. My z1000 has one rotor and Caliper in the front and it works just fine. They actually did a myth bust type deal about running one rotor. It doesn't vastly affect stopping time. Just my .02 good luck.

 

If you ask me, by a pear of second hand ones that are meant for the forks.
