i got a cbr off a guy at work and thinking of doing a streetfighter or sell it for 300 quid and put it towards an old bandit 1200

 

Hey guys I just bought this bike last night (sorry kind of blurry). It's my first bike. Bit beat up but I got plans to get it cleaned up.

On another note, and if this is the wrong thread let me know I'm new here, where do you get mirrors and windshields for and 87? One of my mirrors is busted and the windshield is cracked, plus I kind of want a tinted one with that scoop on the top

Hi guys, I got this a couple of weeks ago for £580 with 3 months test and 10 months tax on it. It's got 41k on the clock and runs pretty well for its age. Needs a new front tyre, main stand and rear indicators. If anyone can tell me the proper length of the stem on the rear indicators I'd be grateful. I've put a vid or 2 on youtube under "walkerrog25".

Any suggestions on what colour I should change to? The end can looks to be a race one as there are no markings on it to suggest it's UK road legal. It's a joyner, anyone know about these? I'm really glad to have got this particular bike and just want to say that this forum is really great. I reckon I'll be needing loads of advice from you guys in the future!

did you build a new sub frame or did you just modify the stock one?

 

Neither actually, i just built brackets to mount the tail on the stock subframe.
