Default Exhaust/Radiator/Overheat - '87 CBR 600

Have exhaust going into the radiator forcing the coolant into the overflow and causing the bike to over heat. Guessing it is the head gasket. No signs of water in the oil.

Got real bad after the temp gauge pegged Friday.

Any advice/tips/ideas are welcome.Planning on tearing into by Saturday August 9th.

Any cheap place to order gaskets? Unless someone gives me another place will be ordering them through cyclepartsnation.com.

Thanks

Started tearing into the bike this week. Have the exhaust, carbs & valve cover off.

Definite signs of water/oil mixture in the valve cover.

Anything I need to know about the cam and/or timing before I pull the head off?

Any advice will help. Any advice besides "Take it to a shop".

Plan on pulling the head Saturday. I have the book for the bike and plan on looking it over before I go any further.

few questions. do you ride the bike alot? how has the weather been up there, changing from hot to cold every day? is the oil in the crank case milky color?/

the reason why i ask these questions is because if you dont ride the bike or it has been real wierd temp changes it can cause condensation to build up in the air filter box and because the crank case vent is open no pcv valve condensation will make its way down into the top of the head. usually gets burnt away after riding. check the crank case oil and see what that looks like then go from there
