Choke help

if it idles with the choke on (lever on handle bar pulled down, towards you), then i think you have a clogged idle jet. you'll probably need to pull the carbs again, remove the float bowls, and blow out the carbs. its best to have a good air compressor to blow out all the passages in the carbs. if you use a can or carb cleaner, just becareful and dont let the cleaner sit on the ruber parts very long, it will start to eat it. also, before reinstalling the carbs, you need to bench check the syncronization. make sure all the throttle valves are set to the same position, i think the first hole in the carb bore is supposed to be covered. the service manual covers the procedure, and can be downloaded on cbrextreme.com if you dont have one.

i just got down cleaning out all the jets and it runs pretty close to perfect now. thank you so much for your help!!
