yesterday I went to get tires put on my 1990 cbr 600

I asked them how mucha carb clean would be, they said 500.00..

500.00 for a carb clean what are they thinking

I did a carb clean on my 600 f2

I just wanted too see what they charge ..

 

For that much they better be replacing gaskets, setting float height, and cleaning linkage

 

Here in the UK my local bike shop charges £35 pounds an hour which is like $53 dollars. How's that compare with you guys?

 

Holy crap!! were they high? hurting for money?? My Honda dealer charges $150 flat rate

 

$350 for a cleaning, jet kit install, and dyno time If I take it to the local shop.
