This is a rather new problem on me... My 89 is dieing. I rode around for a bit, bike was warm, and when I stopped at a red light, the bike dropped to idle, then died. This has happend a few times and after it does when you restart the bike it wont start (even with choak) unless you rev it up a tad. Im not sure what could be causing this or where to start looking any input would be greatly appreciated. I just changed the oil and oil filter 3 weeks ago and im at a loss.

 

I had a similiar problem, when i would come to stop lights it would idle then die right. Ok well i was told to adjust my idle a bit, via the idle adjustment screw under the left fairing. I moved it a hair, and i dont have the problem now. But im not positive thats the correct answer.
