90 cbrf trying to get started
How would i go about adjusting that to the correct position? Also the bike really has trouble starting up when its cold. Could the leaning out of the 2 cylinders be caused by the pilot screws being set wrong on those carbs?
If you have the idle too low it will die right after firing (unless you have the choke on all the way - sometimes even then).
Cylinder 1 & 2 are in different spark groups so it won't usually be electrical. If you cleaned the carbs and put them together properly you can set the mixture at 2 1/2 turns out which should allow the bike to run fairly well.
then you can try with the idle speed screw (the **** that sticks out from the carbs).
Have you checked the compression in the first 2 cylinders?

Dont mess with the idle screw (the **** on the carb) untill you have sorted the plug situation http://www.centuryperformance.com/sp...g-spg-192.html
