Spraying as we speak, botched three pieces last night but resprayed them tonight and they look good. Might have some pics by tonight. In the mean time can anyone do me a favor and take some detailed pictures of how there upper and lower fairings are attached together and to the bike? Mine originally had this hokey mounting system which I would like to turn back to stock.

Thanks

Well finally finished painting, unfortunately I ran out of clear and had to go buy more, and it looks like the new clear is slightly different than the other clear causing one piece to have a slightly different shine. Hopefully after sanding and buffing they will look better. I will probably sand them and buff on Saturday night. Pictures tomorrow.

If nobody gets to it before I do, I'll take a video tonight. All my fairings are off so I don't know if that's helpful or not.

That would help me a lot, thanks for the help.
On another note the paint turned out really good considering I spray bombed them in -1 weather, although the extra clear coat I bought for the last piece ended up orange peeling. I will try and sand it out tomorrow although I have a felling it will need to be resprayed.

I gave up hope on the orange peel fairing being fixable so I sanded it down today and will spray it again tonight, hopefully I get it right this time or I will be all out of paint and will need to get more mixed (likely wont match the old mix)

Love that color... looks great. Can't wait to see it all put together.

Here is that video I said I'd take... sorry if I ramble on, I guess when I'm concentrating on the video, I'm not thinking about what I am saying, and vise versa. Hopefully it helps a bit.

Thats a big help thank a lot.
On a side note I fired the bike up for the first time in almost a year tonight, ran a bit rough at first then smoothed out after around 10 minutes or so.
