88 cbr died on ride help!!!
Just got my forks resealed, put them on my bike went out for a ride got maybe a mile down the road and my bike like studered is hard it almost thru me off then put a little throttle on and it studered again and died. Now it will not start can anyone help me with this be for i have to tear it apart piece by piece.
To me it sounds like a fuel problem. Check the fuel system, the tank, the valve, the hose, more likely the fuel pump and the bowls on the carbs. If not, then maybe it could be the system that runs the pump. The pump is connected to a variable resistor in the tachometer so it knows how much fuel to pump (or at least it is on mine), it could be that.
when i am trying to start the bike i can smell the gas and can see the fuel in the fuel filter. I am starting to think maybe no spark, but i will at a look at my carbs it did sit for a few years and was going to clean them could be the carb.
