Default 2011 Winter Build

I've had my bike since 2007 now it's time to finally do something to her. I started to disassemble the bike today. Took the tank off, seat, battery and and carbs. I have a few pics and this is gonna be a budget build cause for real all I got right now is a $25 dollar gift card for Wal-Mart lol. Also mice were sleeping in my air cleaner housing they chewed up my air cleaner material and laid mice turds inside I hope I didn't get no mice poop in my engine o.0

what I want to do:
paint frame flat black
swing arm flat black
clean engine possibly paint engine
maintenance bike
600rr tail swap
paint rims and accessories
oh and fix forks they need to be serviced

all has to be done by spring cause I need to ride...

sounds like you have a good plan. should look sweet when you are done.

what are your plans with the busted fuel rail? are you replacing the carbs or just the rail.

Thanks, I'm not sure yet I really didn't want to disassemble the carbs to remove it. But I didn't want to half *** it either. I was hoping to guini rig the rail by glueing a wider tube over the original and some how attach it to the hose. It broke off today because it's was freezing outside.

Yeah I know I got like at least $300 minimum in repairs. I need to re do the fork seals and oil, damn carb rail, brakes, turn signal switch, new plugs and wires, the list goes on today I'm gonna start disassembling the engine from the frame. There is so many wires o.0 it's gonna be a lot of work putting it back. Also I found burned prong connector not sure what the connector is for yet.

actually i found that there really arent that many wires. its a pretty simple harness, that is unless you hate wiring.

For me it's not the amount of wires and reconnecting them but rewiring them back so everything can fit
