Im about to buy a 87 hurricane 600 that has been sitting in a barn for 2 years. It is in excellent looking shape. It was drove into the barn and left. I already know im going to drain any old fuel out, change all fluids, tune up and rebuild the carbs. What other areas should I pay attention to?

 

You should also look at tires for dry rot and stuff.

 

go over all rubber parts: coolant hoses, brake lines, vacuum lines, and clean ur gas tank if needed ive seem some rusty tanks. pretty much a tune up if nothing major is wrong with it
