I'll b honest, those signals you picked up, I've seen a million times when I take bikes apart for a salvage guy. they never look good. the OEM signals look far better. no offense.

No offense taken! Problem was my OEM ones were broken. Second problem was I wanted to remove the brackets that held the passenger foot pegs, but those brackets also held the OEM signal lights. Even if I had OEM signals that weren't broken, not sure how I would mount them?

get creative and you can make tabs for OEM lights. btw honda ruckus or nighthawks use the same style signals as the Hurricane.

I suppose I should have just referred to your signature, the answer to my problem is right there..... "Duct tape and superglue" lol

I'll check to see if I can find signals from those bikes..

BTW, is it possible to wire up the brake lights to act as signal lights also? I'm pretty handy with electronics, but just can't figure it out... Saw a 2005 CBR600 with that setup, thought it was pretty slick.

it is, but its EXTREMELY STUPID to do. all it does is confuses drivers and is SOMEHOW legal. the average person doesnt know if you're turning, stopping, doing a swedish circle, or about to catch fire.

Gotcha.. Make's sense. And sadly, us bikers DO need to take as many precautions as possible...

Still throwing around a few different idea's for signals. Know of anyone on here who has a really cool setup?

not right offhand. what I've done thouh, in the past, is I've taken pieces of 1/8" thick aluminum bar stock, about 3/4" wide and bent it to bolt up somewhere so I could mount signals. check out some 04ish GSXR turn signals. they look really sharp, and are BRIGHT. my interceptor has em on the back so its no question where I intend to go.

Is this what you are talking about? (picture attached)

Any chance you have a picture of them mounted on your interceptor?

Tried to find them online, couldn't find much.. Found these on ebay, is this what you are referring to? --> Suzuki FLUSH MOUNT LED TURN SIGNALS GSXR GSX-R 1000 2004 2003 2002 2001 Clear | eBay

Thanks

No, I didnt use those. what I have are OEM stalk type signals. I dont do those cateye signals becase the name of the game is visibility for me, not lets put some tiny litle thing on the bike and hope for the best.

sorry if I sound like a dick, just being honest.
