Default turbo kits

i was wondering if anyone knows who makes a decent turbo kit for the XX. i want a "street" kit. other than mrturbo i havent been able to find other reputable companys and i havent seen anything from them for the XX.i have a 97 with 10k miles on it and track days just arnt as much fun on it as they are with a good ol 600 so i figured a nice little turbo could be fun on the XX.

Default RE: turbo kits

Hahn makes a cheap street turbo good for about 240-250hp. Elton (EFR enterprises)will add some of his "one off" stuff to this kit for a little more money, better kit but you will have to let him install it. But if you ever plan on making more power you will have to get a completely new turbo. Take a look at what you want to do now and several years from now, as far as riding and horse power. If you think 2 years from now you will want more power go ahead and spend all your money now on a "custom" turbo from NLR, RCC, or, Velocity. You may not want to put 500hp to the ground but you will have a higher quality kit with less problems and more adjustability. Hahn kits do not have an external wastegate. If you want to add a boost controller you will have to send it off and have one made for $800. Make a budget, set a goal for your riding style, and have a plan.
