So what's a Y2K 1100xx - in mint stock condition with 18k miles worth ?

Bike needs absolutely nothing !....... Looks showroom !

Reason I ask is ....... well saw one up for grabs

desirable bike, but they sound a little too proud of it. it's 10 years old with 20k miles. the guys on cbrxx would know for sure.

 

It would go for at least that much here in Canada, but that's pretty steep for a US price. You won't find many XXs with mileage that low; that's only about a dozen good weekends' worth

 

Well I saw a 2002 with 3K miles on it that I could have gotten for under $5000.00. That particular bike was in excellent shape. What you can buy a bike for though is really determined by how much time you want to spend looking for one and how well you can negotiate. There are a lot of bikes for sale right now due to the economy.
