Default new3 member

Hi I am called wobbly long story ,on my 3rd bird but this one has a battery prob !unless its stays on optimate the battery is low ,however it ticks over at 12,7 volts on revvin it just fails to get in the green under 14 volts ,i have ordered a rectifier do you think i need a battery as well ? HELP

Check the output from the stator with it running. My bird, going by how they tell you to test it in the service manual it was the rectifier. Came across a site that tells you how to test the stator with it running, since it doesn't say in the manual. Turned out one phase of the stator was bad.
