I got mine from here. I'm not sure if he has anymore but it was very cheap given that they retail for over $150 from Honda.

Hey Strek. Yeah its been a while over there. I find there's only so much you can talk about on any bike and haven't logged in there for a bit. I found a few guys there a bit to much for me and after having met one in person a while back I lost interest. The guys on the Hurricane forum here are really good and I am loving my 1000F. They are a really nice old bike that still look the part even though its 21 years old. From memory you had one didnt you ?. Anyway talk later mate. Cheers.

Yes I agree with there only being so much you can talk about on any one bike. This is more true with one that is no longer being developed. I still spend some time over there. I visit several different forums and spend a little time on forums where I might be considering a model as a future purchase. Currently if I was buying new I'd probably opt for a BMW K1300S. I like the idea of adjustable suspension and a bit more power. It has more power in the passing ranges than the Hyabusa.
Well yes I had a 1988 Cbr1000F. Bought new. Up until about 2 years ago. I got cut off and slid it on its side through an intersection. Shame really. The bike was mint. Only 12000 miles on it. Well due to the plastic damage the bike was totalled by the ladies insurance company that cut me off. They gave me a nice price for the bike though. So At that time I also had the 1999 CBR1100XX. Well this past spring I found a great deal on a 1996 CBR1000F with only 3000 miles on it. Mate, the bike is mint. The owner had mounted new tires and had put in a new battery. I kind of see it as the missing link between the 1988 and the 1999 CBR1100XX. I like the 96. Its a bit more upright with a touch more leg room. Carbs but I prefer the FI. Still the carbs give it a bit of character and transport me better to my younger years as far as feel on the bike. I like the sound of the 96 too. The 99 has more punch and it is my favorite of the three CBR's that I have owned but I have liked them all.
