Hi would look into shimming alot more first, as it alters the dynamics of the bike, that is raises the rear of the bike and under front wheel heavy braking can lift the back wheel of the road making the bike unstable, without altering the front forks.Have you looked at different front wheel tyre's with a different profile that could make cornering better without altering dynamics of the bike.Just my thoughts really

Thanks CaBaRet! Thoughts are appreciated. And come to think of it your right with double shims the back end will tend to lift under heavy breaking. Thanks! Any thing on going full syth?

Hi I tend to stay away from the oil debate, whatever I say someone will tell you different, but yes I would use Fully Syn

NO THEY WON'T! lol

The only thing is, use MC grade oil. The crushing pressures of the oil between the gears will reduce the oil if it is not engineered to take the pressure.
Don't use anything with friction modifiers, ie. graphite, that will make the clutch slip.
With that, any MC grade oil will do,

Default Makeover update...

Hello folks! Just an update on "The New Monster" project. Unfortunately due to pre winter bookings and blah blah blah My Givi set and Beetle bags will not be ready before 1st,2nd wk in May!!! Powder coated parts will be ready 2wks from today April 6... Sorry folks for all the delays! I was so looking forward to having everything come together for the end of April but alas! I will have to wait a bit longer to finally have everything complete! Mid May? Stay tuned! ... By the way I've been taking pictures all along the way and I have some really cool B4 and after pics at various stages of the makeover. However unfortunately I've maxed out the allowable amount of 50 pics. I have well over 50 pics NOW of various upgrades...
