Buying advice CBR blackbird
Hi all,
it has been a while since I've been around this forum as I sold my CBR1000F some 12 years ago. I'm thinking of getting a bike finally, for commuting mainly. But I'm interested in the blackbird because it has nice fairing protection and looks comfortable and stable.
I had some minor issues with the cbr during the time I owned it but was an overall solid bike so I'm thinking honda again.
Buyers advice? Years of manufacture to chase in particular? etc etc...
Cheers all

Looking at carb model or FI model?
I've owned both, the FI models seems to run hotter than the carb model.
Carb model also easier to lose weight with aftermarket 4 into-1 exhaust & jetting.
Blackbirds are rock solid bikes, take care of the electrical, regulator, rectifier, stator, it would run for a long time.
