Im puttin my bike back together still and am almost done...the problems is im puttin on the upper cowl and of course i have to attach the headlight unit to the cowl before attaching to the cowl stay. Problem comes up when im tryin to put the screws in they r not catchin on any thing. I cant think of anything other than zip ties at this point to attach the headlight unit tok the upper cowl. Im a fooked or am i gonna b straight...at least for a lil bit?

 

Pics would help.. But what about longer screws..... Zip ties and speed aren't friends.

 

i figured that zip ties might not hold up as well but thats all i can think of right now. longer screws or even fatter ones r not gonna help right now cause there is no nut for it to catch on and no room for me to put a nut. im thinkin honda put one of them lil crappy *** plastic pop plugs in that u find on the body. might try one of them. the ties r more for a lil suppot, dont really think the vibration would get to it to much since the headlight kit is pretty much wedged in there between the upper cowl and the upper stay.

 

Yeah try one of those pop caps, but not zip ties... 100+ and zip ties spells crash.
