I was just on Honda's site yesterday though, and by god, what is with that silver stripe?!? I mean, red and orange as the only two colors of '11 REALLY?!

I know there's plenty of aftermarket support, even tank covers, but holy cow, just like with the 600's, I'd rather step back, and get an older one for the colors I want.
tanks.

it really wasn't THAT involved to do, but it makes a big visual difference (i think).
and like most things, it also looks better in person.

this was one of my initial POC mockups:

and for the record i am very not digging the silver frame on the 2011.

Yeah Regen, I love the look of the yellow bike. So, did you get your frame, powder coated black then?

Oh, ok, so your's isn't an '11 then.. Either way I really like the paint job. So, did you get your original fairings repainted or did you get aftermarket fairings? If you got them painted, where does one go to get something like that done?

Thats a stock color for the 08 models. He just added decals (or paint) to the mid fairing and tank.

I was at the dealership the other day and i agree - I just can't say that I really like t he looks. The main problem for me I think is the rounded/saggy looking headlights. Also - generically I feel there isn't quite enough fairing there - I'm not sure I can really pinpoint where or why I am saying that, there is just something that doesn't appeal to me.
