I don't want to offend anybody, but is it just me or are the '10-'11 1000RR's not very good looking bikes what so ever?

The new exhaust screams "The guy riding me is 100% gay", the contraption that they used to mount the license plate is hideous, the new paint job looks like a 6th grader drew it using crayons, and the new frame is so wide and bulky it makes the bike look like we took a jump back in time and we're looking at a bike from the '80's....

The 600 is (once again) much better looking though it still can't hold a candle to any of the F4 models...

Am I the only one who feels this way about the new 1000RR's? Let me have it if you don't agree... I was considering upgrading to a 1000RR, but I decided that I will have to wait until they make them less ugly...

Anyway, I get what you mean about "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". That's why I posted this thread. I wanted to see if I belong to a minority or if most people don't like the new look...

 

You're right God.. I dind't realize that... So I am guessing most other people must like the look... I am hoping that otherwise Honda would've changed it by now...

 

I don't know that throwing a leg over a 1000rr will make you look more or less gay, however coming to the section of the site that is dedicated to that model and making that comment makes you sound like a moron.
It has been said that it is better to say nothing and have everyone think you are a fool than post a thread like that and prove it.

I didnt like em when they first came out, but they have grown on me since. Esp after seeing a few in person and a few with aftermarket exhaust and other mods.

The biggest thing is the upgrade in performance and being almost as light as the 600rr's. And they are much slimmer than the previous models too.

I like them... One of my favorite looking bikes. I would buy it for the looks but 1k is way too much for me. The I would but the R6, it has similar cosmetic characteristics.
