Went down on saturday.
I went down on saturday. My friend and I were going twisties outside the city, went too wide too fast, had no time to adjust ,straightened up the bike applying front breaks hoping for smouth more or less stop on side of the road(dry dirt and rocks). Did not work out well, was down in less than a second. Bike fell on a left side. I hit my left elbow and knee, rolled a few times. Speed was about 30-40 mph. I was fully geared, so I got a little scratch on my elbow and kinda feel sour today. Anyways, left side of the fairings is gone. Some other little damage that is fixible. My most concern is where I can get the upper front, left middle, and rear fairings for my 06 blue/yellow? Thanks!

Since my crash 2 weeks ago I have been looking around for the same parts and the cheapest place that I have found is www.servicehonda.com.

i have left side plastics that have a bit of road rash but they aren't bad. The rear cowl only has one corner that has the paint burnt through and the bigger cowls are only scratches.. no cracks.. If you really wanted to you could sand them and then put new stickers on if you could find some.. i also have handlebars if yours are bent.. let me know!

Sparkie:
Compare the stock fairing prices with the option of going completely after market. The aftermarket body is much less expensive compared to the stock fairings. Since you would need to paint it, it would also be a good opportunity to do something custom. In addition, replacement parts would be less expensive in the future. You can also sell your stock fairings that are in good condition to offset the cost of a completely new aftermarket fairing job.
If I needed to replace my fairings, this is what i'd do. Just a thought.

RE: Went down on saturday.
Same thing happened to me, same side same type of damage. I searched cbrforum.com for about 2 weeks and called just about everyone I could. The best price that I have found was from: www.mrcycles.com 1-800-359-0567 Give them a call I believe they are the cheepest around. Their price includes OEM decals. Just give them a call.
