okay i want a 05 Repsol replica, however 9 grand is my limit. i found a 05 RC51 with 500 miles on it for sale from a 58 year old for $8950. to me it sound like a great deal. my opinion is i want it since you dont see much on the road. although i havent road one before. so its either the RC51 or a CBR1000RR. im undecided. any suggestions?

A few questions first. What do you want to use it for? How much do you plan on riding? Where are you going to spend most of your riding miles, city, highway, or ruarl? I have a real love for the 51. I've riden both and almost bought a 51 but after putting close to 750 miles on it over a period of 8 1/2- 9 1/2 coming from FL to N.Y. There's no way it can be my only bike. I'll ride about 15k per year but not on that thing. Sick bike, handles great at speed, good power band, and sounds like no other but its not as agile at slower speeds. It's a little less "comfortable". I can't imagine putting a girl back there over 120lbs because the size of the seat and tail. If your not a "seasoned" rider it will definitly be too much for you. Not like the Blade would be a whole lot better on inexpierenced rider but it comes down to your ability. Here is something to help you out. Good luck.

if you want to go slower through the twesties go with the 51. if you want to go faster and come out of the corners like a bat out of h??L on the back tire get the 1000rr. why do you think ama went back to the 1000rr more speed more excitement by the way how about those new 1000rr now that they have had a little time to tweak them.
