I am gonna guess you had some trouble with a Gix at some point or a friend did, and now your tainted as is your opinion. I had a 96 gix 750 and sold it with 80k+ miles on it, and its still running around town. Sold my 01 gix 750 with 60k+ and same thing. Then again people tend to judge vehicles that way too. I saw a thread here about dodge trucks and how they are junk, even though i got 300k + outa mine on original engine and trans.
I think its safer to say that if someone can make that much of a generalization, its because they had one and didnt take care of it. That almost always seems to be the case.

To the first posters topic (who likely was being a douche anyways). I'm new here and have asked a few dumb questions but didn't get flamed. I read everyones responses and while they were "hey you're an idiot" in nature I think the point was very clear and was easily interpruted as "if you do that you'll likely die... and die stupidly". If he's looking for a mommy then he should go home. If he's looking for honest people giving honest answers then welcome to the forums.
