tire talk
ok so we all know this horse was killed years back....but after a few hot runs on my pilot powers they seem to just slide out without warning....i gotta front pirelli and the front at full lean never gives....and i've felt it give a bit but it always warns....any body else agree that when PP's fail they fail all together. how are the new bridgestones that seem to be destroying on the GP circuits...u get the pilot powers to ball up(fuzzy's) a few times and they dont grip for **** after that

RE: tire talk
I was running 32-32 with my pp's and found the same thing. They would slide without warning and the slide to me didn't feel controlled. I'm used to sliding metzelers or bridgestones, and they always let me know they are on the edge, but the powers felt solid as a rock until they were sliding into pucker moments.
It could be my riding style, but I won't buy another set of powers. It's metzeler m3s or the new corsa 3s for me until something better comes along. I liked the bt015, but they didn't last as long for me as the other two.

29 cold on the rear
no problems yet
do they 5psi test
if they gain more than 5psi after riding then they dont have enough air
if they dont gain 5psi then they have too much
at least that is what the michelin rep at the last track day i did told us
ps am i the only one who found himself just staring at audi's avatar

RE: tire talk
Yep i found the pilot powers was really bad until warm and even then it would cool down really easy. slippery crap...I got the bridgestone bt15 stock with my 06 1krr which where pretty good but didnt last that long...but once I tried the corsa pros III....now this is the bomb...no need to warm up just ride and ride hard...the only thing was here in OZ we can only get 190/55 cant get 190/50 so the profile is alittle higher...so the bike sits alittle higher than standard if you aint got height adjustment in your rear shock...

lol this avatar might be banned soon, so fill the spank bank....yeah i bought a $40 air guage pretty damn nice.....5 psi rule never heard that....usually 32 cold on front will fill to about 34.5 on front(when warm)....and supposedly 34ish is what pirelli recommends warming up too....didn't know about the PP's tho
