What is the recommended front and rear tire pressure for stock size tires ona 2006 CBR 1000rr?

 

owners manual will say max psi in front is 36 and 42 in back...my moto mechanic tells me the front needs to always stay at 36 to avoid "cupping" and 36 in back if i'm riding alone and if I have a passenger to go up to 38 or 40...thats my 2 cents anywayz..
