Tip Over Sensor

Default Tip Over Sensor

Has anyone had any issuses with the tip over senson while riding wheelies? Sorry i didint post this in the stunt section but i couldnt find any topics with the 1000rr.

You shouldn't have any problems with the bank angle sensor (that's what it's called). It's designed to sustain pretty steep angles. I've actually taken it out when I painted my fairings and moved it around to get an idea of the tolerances - you can lean it pretty damn far!!

yeah, it pretty much has to be horizontal on the ground for that thing to kick in...... back around 90-91 or so the Goldwings had a bad batch of those things and they would kick the engine off going down the road....not a good thing

major recal...

I think the owners manual said the bike has to be upside down to kick in and shut off the fuel.

How well does the gas stay in the tank at almost 90 degrees nose up anyway?
