Default SWING ARM EXTENTION ?

I am thinging about putting a 4' swing arm extention on my 06 1000RR. How much will this hurt the bikes curving ability? I am not a real experinced rider , and want to keep the front wheel on the ground, but don't want to sacrafice the day by day driving around town & in the country.

Do any of you have a pic of the extentions on a 1000RR.

How much shoud it cost me for materials & labor to have this done?

Default RE: SWING ARM EXTENTION ?

extensions are done to keep the front end down under heavy take off like at a drag strip

it would make tight turning harder

Definitely going to handle alot harder. The rear end is going to seem to drag through a corner. Rather than slice through it like a scapel. The front end on take off speed is pretty planted. Dont dump the clutch so much...lol. I would keep it just like it is.
