when taking off from a dead stop there is a slight stubmle aroun 1500-2000 rpm, then it really takes off if i am not paying attention. does anyone else experience tis? or can it be linked to the flapper? i have not done the flapper disconnect to see if it improves.

 

My '05does this too, but only when the radiator fan is running.

 

very common on the 1000RR
2000-2500 rpm is the rpm range for this

flapper mod, gearing change and custom map are the best ways in order of expense to correct this

The flapper mod didn't fix this on my bike, it's almost worse now. A PCIII seems to be the weapon of choice to battle the dreaded stumble.

 

I honestly didn't have hesitation like I've heard others talk about, until I did the flapper mod-it was so much smoother taking off from a stop. You should try it if you haven't already.

did the flapper give you hesitatation or no
