RE: stretchin it out
I personally dont like the stretched bikes,I can see why people in florida do it, as all of their roads are straight. But in NC, it might not be a goodidea.Your basically taking a awesome handling machine and making it nothing but a straight line bike. your handling will suffer big time. If you know of anyone that has one, ask to ride it. you will probably not want to do it.
But, if its something you want to do, then I say go for it.
I certainly wouldnt let anyone deter me if I wanted something. So take my comments and the ones to follow with a grain of salt. You gotta be you.....even if it is wrong...jk

not my cup of tea, but you can check some out at www.jeepersracing.com ......they have some of stock weld on stretches, and they build custom arms/big-tire kits for the 1-k...if you're gonna go 10", then you'll prob want a wider tire
if you want to go a milder 3-6", you can get some pretty trick billet bolt ons, cycle-logic is one, that will get you there...
good luck

I think most of you are right....I do like the look of the stretched bike, but I think i just have too much fun on it i think maybe just lowering it a few inches will do and adding a whole lot of chrome....anyone know a good co that you can either ship the whole bike too or send the parts to get dipped?
