Default SoCal Riders

i live in SoCal and i know nobody does the speed limit or anything close to it. has anybody had any problems with the police or chp? how fast are you riding normally on the freeway. i dont know if any other states allow youto split lanes on a bike but i dont do that. its seems too dangerous for me. motorcycle cops do it a lot i have noticed. have you been pulled over, or given a warning? i try to stay within the limit because any tickets effects my cdl and that wont be good.

you can find the speed limit posted on the side of the freeway. anywhere from 65 to 75. as far as the split lane goes it is legal in CA. we do it all the time here in central and northern cali. on cruise nights cop are usually cool with the bikes but cars get pulled over left and right. they usually dont mess with us unless we're doin wheelies n what not.

75-80 here. I find the traffic to move at that rate. As far as lane sharing; I get really nervous about it as well. What I usually do is move to center of both cars and some times the cars will actually move out for you. At the same time you have those idiots who will move over so you can't. Best of luck to ya.....
