RE: 2ct's
2cts are great tires and perform very well on the track. once the qualifiers on my track bike get scrubbed down the 2ct is my next purchase.
mileage is just like everything else. it depends on how you ride. you may get 1 track day or 10
3K miles or 10K
as far as the 180 vs 190
the best choice if you want to change tire is a 190/55
the 180 gives more turn in but less rubber on the road when you lean it over.
the 190/55 gives faster turn in and enough rubber on the road to stay connected
just my .02 from all the research i have done on it.
some people swear by the 180
others say it is the work of the devil

RE: 2ct's
2ct's are pretty sticky. i went into cycle gear the other day and just from touching it i could tell how sticky they are not even warmed up. im running power pilots now and am gonna need new ones soon. thinking of getting the 2ct's. just seems like they wont last since theyre so sticky.

RE: 2ct's
remember the soft section is on the sidewalls
so unless you are constantly riding on the edge of the wheel the center is still the same material as a pilot power.
for street communting you wont notice much of a difference from the PPs but when you lay it over the tire will really shine
