Default Shogun Sliders

Anybody have the no-cuts on an '04/'05 model? Ive had them for a while and am just now findin the time to put them on. Was just wondering if the left side was suppossed to be as loose as it is now. The bolt is in all the way and its still bout an 1/8 gap in it. Or does it have to sit right on that elbow joint that goes to the engine? Ive heard that those end up bending in dropped and then u gotta drop the engine to replace the part so was hopein it didnt have to sit right on it.

Tardo! Read the directions! j/k
If it's anything like the 06-07, one side uses a shorter bolt. Don't remember which one. The sliders themselves are also different length.

Shoguns are close to the water elbow on the 04-05s, which would cause it to break in an event of drop on the left side...this issue was fixed the the 06s...I would rather get the cut on the left side.

i've tested my Shogun no-cuts not once but twice on the left side and they held up just fine ... i've seen them work on track bikes even better in some cases but then it depends on the circumstances of the crash
