Default which seat?

Hello everyone. New member here with a quick question. Has anyone tried both the corbin seat and the sargent seat? Which is better? What are the cons to each one? I have looked through earlier posts and I see everyone raves about both seats, but is there one that is truly better? The stock seat is killing me!! Thanks.

How much time do you have in the stock saddle? I was on the verge of shelling out $$$ for an aftermarket seat but after a couple thousand miles I really started liking the stock saddle. I've never sat on a Sargent but I think the Corbins are uncomfortable. Everybody I know who gets one seems to like it but I'm thinking maybe they don't want to admit the shelled out $300+ for a crappy seat

Thanks brother. I have just under a thousand miles on the stocker and i just completed a 300 mile roundabout and the tail end of the ride was grueling. I am 6'2" 185 so i need some sort of padding.

I put holes all the way through the foam to the plastic seat pan in a diamond/christmas tree pattern and now my stock butt pad feels great. (6'2" 225 lbs.) It looks kinda neat too...[8D]

I used a small piece of pipe and heated it with a propane torch because I felt the foam would be less likely to tear over time if it was melted rather than cut.
