Just been lucky enogh to bag myself a K plate SC28 , just over 50k miles but has been sat for 4 years, I removed the tank and cleaned it out, was a little varnishy, I fired the bike up running a spare tank it off she went,

Refitted old tank added some fuel and soon as she was running petrol was pouring from the car overflow pipe , addes some carb cleaner n tapped the bowls n let it warm up n slowly the overflow stopped, I fitted n extra length of pipe so if it statrted to flow agin I could see it and it would drin staright to the ground not the bike

Rode to teh petrols station and added some 98 ron fuel, noticed the petrol tap was set to off so now witha full tank i tuned it to the ON posistion , as soon as I did the over flow started pouring again n bike stalled and the same thing on reserve , so oddly the only way she runs is with the tap in the off position

I am at a loss any ideas
