EBAY and the forums are your best bet. You can use it as an opportunity to trick it out slowly or rebuild it to stock cheap with parts everyone else swaps out anyways. Honda said mine was totalled (about $6gs in damage) and it's at the paint shop getting custom graphics and it will be better than ever for less than that.

If you know what you are doing and can wait on some parts you can find good deals on most items. If you are doing the work it should not be too bad well depending how bad it is. If the frame is damaged it can get real expencive$$$$$$
After I dumped the 954 it cost me about 1200. to put it right again but I did all the work.

Curently in the process of rebuilding mine. Crashed June 29th of 07, Overheated car got antifreeze all over the road on a blind corner, I slammed into a bank after only sliding about 40' going about 60. Crushed my L1 & T12 Vertibrae Doctors said I wouldnt start doing normal activity for 6 Months and be fully recovered for a year. I was riding a buddies bike in 2 months and I went alpine skiing today no problems at all!

Here's the price list everything should be here in a couple weeks and back together a few days later.

06 1000rr

Repsol Frame - $1250 ( I Rent my business building from a Honda Dealer )
Plastics - $660 (Repsol Hong Kong)
Bull**** - $75
Clutch Cap - $22
BMC Race Filters - $124
Tripple Tree - $62
Upper Tripple - $50
Forks - $180
Wheels w/new tires - $400
Mirrors - $40
Levers - $20
Fairing Stay - $80
Gauge Cover - $80
Fairing Bolts and Clips - $100

Total - $3183

I got a great deal on the bike....(again I rent from the dealer and do all his printing)

So in the end its not too bad.

Bike $8400 New
Fixing the bike $3200

Owning a Repsol Replica for $11,600....Priceless (well no not really more like $11,600)
