I've seen pictures of an '04 red-white-blue 1000RR. I've heard that the colors are only available outside the US. Anyone know how to get hold of one of these sets of plastics?

I actually saw a whole set on EBAY. To include the gas tank cover. Kind of high priced though. Over a thousand.

it depends on how bad your plastics are (missing pieces ? broken tabs ?)
and how diligent you are when it comes to sanding, priming, painting, clearcoat - all that
basic paint (1 color all over) will run you at least a couple of hundred bucks
simple decals on the low-end start @ $20 on eBay

its not easy but when you get it done, pride of workmanship is yours and yours alone !

that tri-colour scheme was available in the UK - try David Silver Spares in the UK, he has a website so should be able to find what you are looking for !!

 

It was about a week ago that I saw them. I sent the link to a friend of mine that was also looking for the same thing. I thought about having those plastics. Would be different.
