when is everyone going to make a seat cowl purchase? 2006 cbr

 

Didnt you get your seat cowl with your bike when you purchased it?

 

no is the seat offered on the new 06 cbr 1000rr

 

Everyone i know that has bought a 06 had the cowl thrown in with the bike!

 

EVERYONE...if you have a new 2006 cbr 1000rr, did you get the rear seat cowl included?

 

This may just be an Australian thing but im not sure if they just come out and offer it but i know my friends said to the dealers they wanted it thrown in for free as they were spending so much money on this new bike.

 

I know my dealer sure didn't throw in a cowl, they pretty much told me "$200 please".

These are brand new OEM rear seat cowls. He charges 120$ shipped. I just got mine in. Saved me 80$

 

Not sure if the 04, 05, and 06 use the same cowl fitting,

buuut, Ebay has a decent deal going on for $138ish plus shipping. Not as good as the $120 deal, but I will say for those Repsol owners out there - ensure you order the Repsol Blue version that has the metallic flake which is PERFECT! Black in the shade, superior Deep Blue Flake in the sun... what a difference it makes to match the overall bike scheme and NOT to just get the black version...

Probably the cheapest, best looking quick fix you can do for your ride... except not getting one and having that hot pillion rider on board!!!!
