Dude this is your first bike, and you cant compare a sportbike to a dirt bike.You didnt make a good decision to buy a 1000 as a first bike, but ihave saw that on here before.Theres nothing wrong with your brand new RR. Just get the oil level betwwen both lines after it has been sitting for a few minutes and it will be ok. If you have revved the **** out of it when its cold then you will have motor problems. A 1000 motor is noisey anyway.

thanks dwt74. and i did fix the oil levels. but what I'am mostly concerned about is the front end. And Noah what is DIY?

my manual does say 3.3 though which i dont know. guess not hah
With an oil and filter change 3.3 quarts is the correct quantity of oilto add, just like the manual says (go figure). The oil level will be right at the upper limit mark. 4 quarts is too much.

yeah na 4 quarts is to much. Is there anyone that doen there own work on there bikes and knows alot about the front ends of these bikes?
