Default Question about 06' CBR 1000

I am looking at an 06' CBR 1000 that has 19000 miles on it....is that to many miles for me to consider it priced at 6800?? or what do you guys think...i'm wanting to find a 1000 for about the same amount of money I have in my bike now (07' Kawi ZX6R)..

Miles aren't really something to worry about if the bike was well maintained and properly ridden. if it was a stunt bike and has oil leaking from the forks you're gonna be in a whole heap of trouble...as far as mileage goes I know of lots of sport bikes that have lived well into the 40k-50k mile range. One guy on here (ThirdGenLXI) has an 04 F4i with 125k miles on it. No big issues whatsoever with that one.

I can't remember who said it but someone with a 954 on here had like 92,xxx km (57k miles).

I have almost 16k on my '06 and it runs hard. still takes out my brothers new '08 busa til about 160 that is. I have the maintenance agreement on my bike so it gets all the reccommended honda services and always synthetic oil. See if that owner has service records and have fun!

LOL my 88 Hurricane 600 had 38K already. And it's stay outside 24/7 even during winter in the snow LOL. But hey that price for a 1000k w/ 19k mi is expensive dude.
