Default Problem with gears need some help

Are any of you having any problems when you come to a stop light
and you have to put the bike in neutral and than after a while putting it in first again?
I can put it in neutral but the gear goes in hard and its loud I hate feeling that clanck.
It just doesn't sound good Can I do anything?
I would like some help thanks in advance.

If you're having trouble getting it back in first then roll forward or backward about a foot and it should go in easy. The "clunk" is normal when it goes in first -- for less "clunk" lower your idle speed to 1150 - 1200 rpm.

I like the idle in the low range because, like you, I find the clunk to be an undesired event. Just give it a bit of gas when starting off to prevent lugging and it'll be just fine. Even though it's hydraulic, the 1kRR's clutch is like buttah .... smoooothe as silk.
