powercommander worth it

Default powercommander worth it

on my 06 rr everyone is telling me to do a powercommander but for the money will it make that much differance? and if i do get it should i add anything else?

Save your money but if find you still want to, full exhaust and remove the resonators.

By itself, I wouldn`t bother. But if you make any other mods like air intake/filters and or exhaust changes it`ll will help get the most from the setup you have.

I put one on my 954 and it made the bike a lot more enjoyable to ride, smoothed out the power curve big time. If you get it just make sure you have the right map in it. I will be getting one for the 1000 soon and before I do the pipe.

Gotta agree with Anubis, only worthwhile if you have mods and get it set up on a dyno

Same here it only made any differance when i had fitted exhaust system and filters and had it put on a dyno!!!
