I pulled the plugs on my new/old purchase. All burning light tan, no oil on threads. They were in only hand tight.. Question, the number 2 plug, right to left, has a dark burn ring on the insulator closest to the metal portion of the plug. No other plug has this. Heat? bad insulator?
